2 Free Outdoor Concerts Announced at Covered Bridge Park

South Whitehall is planning to host concerts in May and August at the township's flagship park.

Two outdoor concerts are set this year in the township's premier park.

At Wednesday's commissioners' meeting, Manager Jon Hammer announced:

  • Right Hand Red, a local band that plays covers and classic rock from the 1970s to the 1990s, will perform Friday, May 31. (Rain date Friday, June 7)
  • Lucky Seven, a local band that plays R&B, will perform Friday, Aug. 30. (Rain date Saturday, Aug. 31)

"We're looking to have a great turnout," Hammer said. "It should be exciting both nights."

The concerts will likely start at 7 p.m.

South Whitehall hosted its first free outdoor concert last summer, with the rock band Don Cunningham and Associates.
