* What makes you proud of the Democratic Party?

First and foremost, I am honored and humbled to have a president and leader of the caliber of Barack Obama. I find him to be an honest and brilliant person with integrity, compassion and great vision.  I am continually impressed by everything that has been accomplished under his leadership -– often without bi-partisan support -– including healthcare reform, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, an auto industry rescue plan, Helping Families Save Their Homes Act, and so many other positive initiatives that have helped this country get back on its feet!!! I am equally impressed by the steadfast resolve that Democrats elicit on a regular and ongoing basis. I am proud of the many accomplishments this country has had under President Obama’s leadership and I look forward to re-electing him so we can continue on this positive path.

* What issues matter in the Lehigh Valley?

Like most of the country, the economy and life-sustaining wages for all people continue to need primary attention. I believe President Obama is the best candidate to represent all constituents!

* What are you looking forward to at the Democratic Convention?

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I feel honored to have this privilege.  I look forward to sharing ideas with like-minded people who appreciate and support our president and the democratic values that have made this country great! And, I look forward to great bar-b-cue!!

If you get some time please find out why Michelle Obama was lying to us!
One thing is for sure! The First Lady is a full blown story teller that is not the truth. http://www.therightscoop.com/turns-out-first-ladys-story-of-struggle-built-on-foundation-of-deception/

Why not use a bipartisan, reputable fact-checking site, like factcheck.org, instead of quoting Right Scoop or Breitbart?

I contacted LVHN several months ago about volunteering with my son (8 years old) at the AndersonRead More campus. I would stay with him at all times and supervise him. I was told that they do not accept children. I think its a shame that the hospital will not accept him a a volunteer. I am trying to teach him how to give back to his community . Apparently the hospital does not want our help. I think several patients, especially older ones, would like getting assistance from a young child.

Tom, LVHN does not have an Anderson Campus. I believe you are referring to St Luke's Health Network.Read More LVHN is not able to accept volunteers under the age of 16 years old. There are many mandated reasons that young children are not allowed to volunteer in a hospital setting. Volunteering is a wonderful thing to teach your children. There are organizations in the Leigh Valley who are willing to utilize families. Please visit the Volunteer Center of the Leigh Valley for other opportunities in your area. www.volunteerlv.org
