McDonald's Expansion Talk Moves to South Whitehall Planners Tonight

An application to expand McDonald's on Hamilton Boulevard is on the agenda for South Whitehall Planning Commissioners tonight.

 

South Whitehall Planning Commissioners will discuss a variance request from McDonald's USA LLC, owner of the McDonald's on Hamilton Boulevard, that would allow its to remodel the restaurant and build a 12-foot addition. 

According to the planning commission agenda, McDonald's USA LLC is seeking relief to remodel the existing 3,788-square-foot, one-story restaurant; construct a 437-square-foot addition, and reduce the number of parking spaces from 47 to 46 on the 1.2-acre lot.

The property is zoned highway commercial and Howard Epstein, Tara Epstein and Midge Sokol are the owners. McDonald’s USA, LLC is the applicant. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building.
