PennDOT Plans to Pave, Fix Potholes on Several Roads

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation plans the following road work in North Whitehall, South Whitehall and Upper Macungie townships:

North Whitehall

• Road: Mauch Chunk Road between Sand Spring Road and Hill Street
• Type of Work: Paving
• Date: Oct. 10 to Oct. 17, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Restriction: Lane restriction with flagging
• Rain will cause delays.

• Road: Route 100 at Penn Drive
• Type of Work: Milling and Paving
• Date: Oct. 12, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Restriction: Lane restriction northbound. Watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when travelling through work area  
• Rain will cause delays 

• Road: Route 309 at Route 873 and Webley Road
• Type of Work: Pothole Patching
• Date: Oct. 12, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Restriction: Lane restriction with flagging. Watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when travelling through work area  
• Rain will cause delays 

• Road: Route 329 between Rick Road and Cobbler Road
• Type of Work: Paving
• Date: Oct. 10 to Oct. 17, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Restriction: Lane restriction with flagging.  
• Rain will cause delays 

• Road: Ramp at Route 145 and Second Street
• Type of Work: Crack Sealing
• Date: Oct. 9, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Restriction: Ramp Restriction. Watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when travelling through work area  
• Rain will cause delays 

• Road: Willow Street between Shelby Drive and Bridge Street
• Type of Work: Paving
• Date: Oct. 10 to Oct. 17, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Restriction: Lane restriction with flagging.   
• Rain will cause delays 

South Whitehall

• Road: Route 309 between Village Road and Orefield Road
• Type of Work: Drainage
• Date: Oct. 9, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Restriction: Lane restriction with flagging. Watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when travelling through work area  
• Rain will cause delays 

• Road: Ramps at Route 22 and Route 309, between Routes 22 and 309
• Type of Work: Pothole Patching
• Date: Oct. 12, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Restriction: Ramp restriction for patching work. Watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when travelling through work area  
• Rain will cause delays 

Upper Macungie

• Road: Route 22 between Route 100 and Route 309
• Type of Work: Inspection
• Date: Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Restriction: West bound lane. 
• Rain will cause delays

• Road: Route 100 at Penn Drive
• Type of Work: Milling and Paving
• Date: Oct. 12, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Restriction: Lane restriction northbound. Watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when travelling through work area
