South Whitehall's Outdoor Concert to be Rescheduled

Friday night's forecast for rain led South Whitehall officials to postpone concert at Covered Bridge Park with Cunningham and Associates.

Lehigh County Executive Don Cunningham was there, but with the weather looking ominous Friday evening, South Whitehall officials postponed its free outdoor concert at .

The concert with Cunningham and his six-piece rock band, Cunningham and Associates, will be rescheduled, likely in a few weeks, said South Whitehall Commissioner Chair Tori Morgan.

Morgan, with Commissioners David Bond and Glenn Block, helped alert concert-goers who pulled into the park Friday for the 7 p.m. concert, which would have begun under gray skies. With the forecast for rain, Morgan said it was better to postpone the concert rather than have to stop it after it started.
