South Whitehall Voters Will Go To the Polls Tuesday

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tuesday, Nov. 8, is the election.

Voters in South Whitehall will choose township commissioners and Parkland School Board members. They also will choose a Lehigh County judge and representation in countywide positions, including four Lehigh County commissioners.

In the South Whitehall commissioners race, , including one one incumbent, are seeking three seats. All are Republicans.  

On the ballot are , a certified public accountant and vice chair of the township zoning board; , a divisional vice president for transportation for a department store chain and an emergency medical technician; incumbent ,  former director of property services for Lehigh County; and , a member of the township planning commission and a tractor trailer mechanic.

Block and Bond are on both ballots, having won both party nods in the primary. Daubert is on the Republican ballot, and Hite is on the Democratic ballot.

In the race for five seats on the Parkland School Board, four of the six candidates will be on both the Democratic and Republican ballots, having won both party nods in the primary:  (Republican); (Republican);  (Republican); and  (Democrat).

On the Democratic ballot is  (no party affiliation), and on the Republican ballot is  (Republican). 

In the Lehigh County Commissioner race, four Republicans and four Democrats are vying for four seats.

South Whitehall Commissioner  is among the Republican candidates. Also on the ballot are ,  and .

The four Democrats are Geoffrey S. Brace, Dennis L. Pearson, Gloria Hamm, and Timothy S. Waitkus. 

Competing for are Democrat Dan McCarthy, a Lehigh County commissioner; and Republican Doug Reichley, a state representative.
