Parkland High School seniors who earned academic scholarships in excess of 25 percent of the college's tuition who were recognized at a special ceremony at the high school in June:

Andrew Chenworth – Seton Hill University, $13,000 Elizabeth Seton Presidential Scholarship, $5,000 Seton Hill Social Science Scholarship, $2,500 Seton Hill Honors College Scholarship

Megan Chenworth – Haverford University, $49,273 Haverford Scholarship

Janelle Crilley – Arcadia University, $17,500 Arcadia University Distinguished Scholar Award
