Parkland Hires Teachers, Aide, Bus Drivers

The Parkland School Board approved several hires at its meeting last week.

The Parkland School board approved several hires at its last meeting:

Ashley A. Foster, of Northampton, as a substitute art teacher at Parkland High School, which was effective Nov. 22, at an annual salary of $49,921, prorated. Foster temporarily replaces Monica Danner, who is on a childrearing leave of absence.

Andrew S. Nigrelli, of Bethlehem, as a short-term substitute sixth grade teacher at Orefield Middle School, effective Dec. 20. at the daily rate of $250.66. Nigrelli temporarily replaces Jennie Loeper, who will be on a childrearing leave of absence.

Valerie A. Lewonka, of Easton, as a short-term substitute speech/language teacher at Parkway Manor Elementary School, which was effective Aug. 27, at the daily rate of $250.66. Lewonka temporarily replaces Debra Barhight who is on a leave of absence.

Kaye A. Coval, as a part-time mentor for Ashley Foster at Parkland High School, through the end of the 2013-2014 school year, at a contracted stipend.

Natividade Candido, of Breinigsville, as a playground aide at Fred J. Jaindl Elementary School, which was effective Nov. 11, at an hourly rate of $14.02. Candido replaced Cindy James who moved to another position.

Maria C. Martuscelli, of Northampton, as a part-time custodian at Springhouse Middle School, which was effective Nov. 20, at an hourly rate of $16.37. 

Trina L. Rennie, of Schnecksville, as a full-day school bus driver, which was effective Oct. 24, at a daily probationary rate of $90.95.

Michele A. Stanley, of Emmaus, as a full-day school bus driver, which was effective Nov. 14, at a daily probationary rate of $90.95.

Christopher K. Schaffer, of Wescosville, as a full-day school bus driver, which was effective Oct. 28, at a daily probationary rate of $90.95.

Crystale K. Kistler, of Schnecksville, as a part-time general food service employee, which was effective Nov. 2, at an hourly rate of $14.28.
