Come celebrate Allentown's 250th Anniversary and cheer on the Parkland Trojan Marching Band during a parade scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. today, Sept. 29, at the Allentown Fairgrounds.
The parade will travel from the Fairgrounds, up to 17th Street and then turn left on Hamilton Street. It will continue on to the intersection of 9th and Hamilton streets.
The celebration in Allentown continues throughout the day with activities for kids and performances. More information is available on the events.
The Trojan Marching Band is 160 members strong. The band performs at Parkland football games, as well at school and community functions, and local, regional and national parades including the Chicago Holiday Parade, the New York City Veterans Day Parade and Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
