Cub Scout Pack 12 in South Whitehall is holding its second annual "Flags on Tilghman" event starting 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The Scout Pack, which is based at the Asbury United Methodist Church on Springhouse Road, will be planting American flags on Tilghman Street from the Route 309 overpass to Wegmans in honor of those who have served in the military. After lining that section of Tilghman with flags, the Scouts will hold a flag ceremony at 7:30 p.m. at , 768 Parkway Road. The ceremony will feature members of the school's chorale, school and school district representatives and the Allentown Flag Day Association.
