Summer Library Hours Planned at Parkland Schools

Each elementary and middle school library in the Parkland School District will open one day per week for six weeks during the summer break.

Parkland School District students will be able to visit their school libraries this summer.

The Parkland School Board will vote at its next meeting to adopt a proposed schedule of six summer hours for each elementary and middle school in the district.

Each school's library will open one day per week, for two hours per day, from June 17 through Aug. 2.

The proposed schedule is:

Cetronia Elementary School: Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Fogelsville Elementary School: Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Ironton Elementary School: Tuesdays from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Jaindl Elementary School: Wednesdays from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Kernsville Elementary School: Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Kratzer Elementary School: Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Parkway Manor Elementary School: Wednesdays from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Schnecksville Elementary School: Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Orefield Middle School: Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Springhouse Middle School: Thursdays from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
