Viewfinder: Parkland Boys Lacrosse Squad Bests Saucon Valley
Trojans score five times in final stanza to post 17-10 win over the Panthers in Tuesday's non-conference game.
Parkland hosted Saucon Valley in a non-conference boys lacrosse game Tuesday in Orefield with the Trojans coming out on top by a 17-10 score.
The Trojans took a 9-3 halftime lead but the Panthers clawed back to within striking distance at 12-8 on the strength of a five-goal third quarter.
Parkland took advantage of several Saucon Valley bench penalties in the fourth quarter to score five times with three of the goals coming with Panthers short-handed by those penalties.
Kurt Kaunas and Dave Cecchini led the Parkland scoring attack with four goals each.
Saucon Valley's offense was paced by Alex Butrie and Sean Kowalski who tallied three goals each.
