He said he started building everything about two summers ago, after getting materials from Eastern Industries. "All together, it took about 220 hours to complete between me and several others who volunteered to help," he said.

Aside from Scouting, he's the treasurer of the Latin Club at Parkland High School, and he's in Project Lead the Way, run by a group of Pennsylvania engineers. He's in Parkland's Civil Engineering and Architectural Design program, figuring out plumbing, heating and other interior structures required in a building. He first got interested in architecture when he took an 'Introduction to Drafting' class at Parkland as a freshman. The next year, he took 'Residential Architecture.' He's a member of the Trojan Pack, the student cheering section at football games.

Key to Awesomeness: Aside from his accomplishments in Scouting, Roesch shows a lot of athletic ability, playing several different sports. "I have been playing soccer for the South Parkland Youth Association since I was a little kid," he said. Currently he plays for the high school team. "I also run cross country, and the 400-meter and 4-by-400 relay with the track team.  Even though I’m not on a team now, I played baseball for a long time, and I’m a member of the Parkland High School ping-pong club."
