Parkland Beats Whitehall 27-10, Easton Rematch Next

Kareem Williams rushes for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns for Trojans; Easton wins in East Stroudsburg South to set up rematch.

The strong legs of Kareem Williams carried the Parkland Trojans to a 27-10 victory over Whitehall in the Quad-A sub-regional football semi-final Friday night.

Williams carried the ball 42 times for 231 yards and two touchdowns in a dominant performance that said as much about the Parkland offensive line as it did about the talented senior running back.

With the win in Whitehall, the Trojans will return home to Orefield next week for another Lehigh Valley Conference rematch with Easton in the sub-regional final. The Red Rovers traveled to East Stroudsburg South on Friday night and crushed the undefeated Cavaliers 31-0 Friday.
