Viewfinder: St. Joseph Parish Festival

St. Joseph the Worker in Orefield held its annual festival over the weekend.

People of all ages turned out over the weekend for St. Joseph the Worker's annual parish festival.

Food stands boasted festival fare, including snow cones, popcorn, steak sandwiches and, of course, funnel cakes. Games such as the balloon dart, cork gun knock-em-down and plush pick kept the younger crowd busy, while blackjack and a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament attracted the older crowd.

The festival also featured live entertainment acts, face painting by Central Catholic cheerleaders, caricatures by artist Donna Haney, pony rides and bingo.
