King George Inn Zoning Request, Springhouse Dance-a-thon This Week in South Whitehall

Here's a look at the week ahead in South Whitehall Township.

The South Whitehall Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the township administration building. The co-applicants of the King George Inn have amended their zoning appeal and are seeking variances on street right-of-way widths, parking lot setbacks and front yard setbacks for a proposed bank and drug store. 

Parkland Community Library Teens (grades 7 through 12) can have a say in the library's purchase of young adults books. Teens are encouraged to attend a meeting from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the library to discuss what books the library should buy and talk about what books you're reading. Help plan activities and program, meets new people and enjoy some snacks.  

The South Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the township administration building.

The Parkland High School football team travels to Nazareth for a Lehigh Valley Conference game Friday. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Springhouse Middle School Dance-athon will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

Parkland High School winter sports physicals will be held Saturday morning at the high school.
