Psychic Medium Readings, Cool Trucks and Knitting Circle This Week

Here's a look at the week ahead in South Whitehall Township.

• The Parkland School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the administration building, 1210 Springhouse Road.

• The South Whitehall Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

• The Knitting Circle will meet from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave. For knitters of all ages and  skill levels. Contact Maryellen at 610-398-1361. 

• The Parkland Community Library Board will meet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the library.

• The Parkland Community Library will hold a fundraiser featuring psychic medium Lauri Moore from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Lone Lane Park Pavilion, Schantz Road and Lone Lane. Tickets are $12 per person, donation to benefit the library. Adults only. For tickets please call 610-398-1361. Lauri was featured in three episodes of the premiere season of Animal Planet’s new paranormal series “The Haunted." 

• The Parkland varsity football team will host Whitehall in a Lehigh Valley Conference game at 7 p.m. Friday. It's also 11th grade "Shirt off Your Back Night."

•  Parkland Community Library will host Touch a Truck from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday. Bring the whole family to the circle in front of the library to check out some of the coolest trucks around. There will be diggers, police cars, an ambulance and more to explore.
