Kratzer Elementary School is one of eight elementary schools in the Parkland School District. It joins Cetronia, Parkway Manor and Kernsville elementary schools in serving South Whitehall Township residents. The school aims to help students become life-long learners by emphasizing good citizenship, problem-solving skills, a literature-based reading program, and technology and cooperative learning techniques. In 2009, according to the district report card, 77 percent of the students tested in state assessments met or exceeded proficiency in math, nearly 73 percent met or exceeded proficiency in reading, and nearly 85 percent met or exceeded proficiency in science.
