Despite a rain storm, parents of Cub Scout Pack 12 based in South Whitehall, plant 600 flags along a section of Tilghman Street in honor of the military and to thank local sponsors. The Scouts participated in a flag ceremony.

With their tribute to veterans on Memorial Day weekend a success, members of Cub Scout Pack 12 of Asbury United Methodist Church once again placed flags along Tilghman Street. This time, it was to celebrate the Fourth of July. Cars honked as the scouts placed the flags one by one along the curb side.
