The following information was supplied by the South Whitehall police department.
Thieves struck again at Grandview Cemetery, stealing more copper on three separate days, according to South Whitehall police. The thefts were reported at 7:12 a.m. on Friday, March 16; at 11:28 a.m. on Sunday, March 11; and at 9:43 a.m. on March 10. In at least one case, the thieves stole the copper from the roof of a mausoleum. Thefts were also reported March 2 and Feb. 29. Police are investigation.

Thieves struck twice in three days at Grandview Cemetery, stealing copper items, according to South Whitehall police. The first theft was reported at 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29. Someone stole 15 copper spouting supports and part of copper roofing on a mausoleum, police said. The second theft was reported at 6:15 a.m. on March 2. In that theft, someone stole copper flashing, a copper chimney cap and copper roof end caps. Police are investigating.
