Louis J. Laubscher, 82, of Breinigsville, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013.
Louis J. Laubscher, 82, of Breinigsville, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Hospice Unit of the Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary (Savignano) Laubscher. Born in Salem, Ohio, and later growing up in Monaca, PA, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Helen (Zindren) Laubscher. Before retiring in 1992, he worked for Ford Motor Company and also as a taxi driver for New York City. He was an Army veteran serving in occupied Japan and during the Korean War. Louis enjoyed fishing and golfing. Survivors: Wife, Mary, son Thomas L. and his wife Vicki of Breinigsville, daughter Jeanette Kershaw of Bronx, NY, sister- Dorothy Adams and her husband Eugene of Monaca, six grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Luke and …
