Parkland Area Aquatic Club Names Two New Coaches
The non-profit Parkland Area Aquatic Club named a new head coach and head age group coach.
The Parkland Area Aquatic Club has two new coaches -- Ryan Woodruff, head coach; and Marty Tomes, head age group coach. Both bring considerable experience to the club. Woodruff is former head coach of the North Carolina Aquatic Club in Chapel Hill, NC, and an assistant coach for the University of North Carolina Tar Heel varsity teams, according to information provided by the Parkland Area Aquatic Club. He also served the University of Florida swimming program in various capacities. He was head coach for the Gator Swim Club in Gainesville, FL, from 2005-2007.
