Update: Photos Show Possible Suspect in Lower Macungie Bank Heist

Man hands KNBT teller a note asking for 'all the money,' police say.

This story was updated at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday A Wescosville-area bank was robbed Monday afternoon by a man who handed a teller a note demanding "all the money," according to police. A black man entered the KNBT bank at 5700 Hamilton Blvd. in Lower Macungie at 2:45 p.m. and gave a teller the note, according to state police at Fogelsville. Police did not say whether the robber had or implied that he had a weapon. No description was provided Monday. The teller complied with the demand, police said. As is generally the case with a bank robbery, police did not disclose -- if an inventory had been taken in time -- how much money was obtained in the robbery. Sovereign Bank Robber Remains At Large

Police ended their ground search after nightfall.

Police confirmed that a man wearing a black T-shirt and gray sweatpants – with a ski mask over his face – robbed the Sovereign Bank in Emmaus Thursday morning with a silver handgun. At a 3:30 p.m. press conference, Emmaus Chief of Police David A. Faust said the suspect remains at large. The hunt for him continued until darkness fell. Faust would not say how much money was taken fom the bank or how many employees were working at the time of the robbery. Lt. Edgardo A. Update: Police Investigate Robbery At Burger King

The robbery occurred early Thursday morning in the parking lot, police said.

Update 11 p.m.: One person has been taken into custody in connection with a robbery early Thursday morning in a Burger King parking lot, South Whitehall Cpl. David Gross said. A warrant will be issued for a second suspect. Gross said the robbery happened at 5:10 a.m. at the parking lot of the Burger King, 3105 Hamilton St. The suspects were not armed, he said. He did not release further information. Earlier: South Whitehall police are investigating an armed robbery this morning at Burger King, 3105 Hamilton St. According to police, two black males robbed the restaurant shortly after 5 a.m. Additional information was not immediately available.
