Man Admits Killing Half-Brother Tops Local News

Here's a round-up of the top South Whitehall news stories last week.   Cory James Maletsky pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter Thursday for fatally stabbing his half-brother Christopher Lloyd in South Whitehall last September, after a drunken brawl, according to court records.   A Chihuahua named Bill, who's owned by Connie Newcomb of South Whitehall, paraded before judges at the 137th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City.   South Whitehall and Upper Macungie township officials agreed Wednesday night to seek state and local grants to help pay for a new $450,000 mobile emergency command post.
