Stolen Lexus Items Sold on Ebay, Police Say

Gold chains and cash were also reported stolen in South Whitehall Township, police said.

South Whitehall Police are investigating the theft of items reported Wednesday at Lexus of Lehigh Valley that were sold on eBay. Police did not disclose what items were sold or their value. Other thefts reported in the township: Theft—Gold chains were reported stolen Wednesday from a residence in the 1100 block of Lowell Street, police said. Theft—Wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash were reported stolen April 11 and April 12 from Parkland High School, police said. Theft from vehicle—$36 was reported stolen April 10 from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Whitehall Avenue, police said.

Small Brush, Mulch Fires Reported, Police Say

A small brush fire broke out in the Lehigh Valley Education Credit Union parking lot, South Whitehall Police said.

South Whitehall police and fire units were called out to extinguish a small brush fire that broke out Sunday in the Lehigh Valley Education Credit Union parking lot, police said. A mulch fire was extinguished outside a home April 1 in the 900 block of Dylan Drive, police said.

$690 Stolen From Purse, Police Say

South Whitehall Police said the money was taken from Tilghman Medical Center and purses were stolen from vehicles at Planet Fitness and LA Fitness.

The following information was provided by the South Whitehall Township Police Department. Theft from Vehicle—Planet Fitness reported Saturday that two vehicles were broken into, police said. Theft—Tilghman Medical Center reported Thursday that $690 was stolen from a purse, police said. Theft—Bennett Infiniti reported Monday that an inspection sticker was taken, police said. Theft from Vehicle—LA Fitness reported Friday that a purse was stolen from a vehicle, police said. Theft—LA Fitness reported Friday that a purse was stolen, police said. Theft—LA Fitness reported April 2 that an iPhone was stolen from a locker room, police said.

Purse Thefts Reported, Police Say

Purses were reported taken from P. J. Whelihan's and a home, according to South Whitehall Police.

  Retail Theft—Sim's Market reported a man was seen removing merchandise from a black vehicle on March 27, police said. Theft—A purse and its contents were reported stolen March 27 from P.J. Whelihan's, police said. Theft—$120 was reported stolen March 27 from Parkland High School, police said. Retail Theft—CVS reported a woman was seen taking small items from the store March 26, police said. Theft—A purse was reported stolen March 24 from a home in the 1400 block of N. 25th Street, police said. The South Whitehall Township Police Department provided the information.

Fishermen Cited for Lighting Campfire, Police Say

No fish tale: No campfires allowed while fishing, South Whitehall Police say.

Some fishermen who wanted to keep warm by a campfire or maybe cook their catch on the first day of trout fishing season last Saturday in Covered Bridge Park were cited with violating a township ordinance, according to South Whitehall police. The fishermen, who were in the 2400 block of Wehr Mill Road, apparently violated an ordinance that prohibits campfires while fishing, according to police.

China Cups, Air Rifle Pellets and Jewelry Stolen, Police Say

Four fine China cups were among items reported stolen in South Whitehall, police say.

The following information was provided by the South Whitehall Township Police Department. Theft: Jewelry reported stolen from a residence March 29 in the 2300 block of W. Columbia Street, police said. Retail Theft: Jamal Tahir Elder, 26, of Allentown, was arrested and charged Saturday with taking two televisions from Target, 1600 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., police said. Theft: Four fine China cups were reported stolen Friday from a residence in the 900 block of Tennyson Drive, police said. Theft: Air rifle pellets were reported stolen Friday from a residence in the 4200 block of Dorney Park Road, police said.

Man Charged With Child Porn on Computer, Police Say

Tyler Joe Daniels, 21, of South Whitehall was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, according to court records.

A 21-year-old Orefield man has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, according to court records. Tyler Joe Daniels was arraigned Monday by District Judge Jacob Hammond and released on $25,000 bail, court records said. According to The Morning Call, state police said Daniels also posted up-skirt photos of some classmates on an Internet site when he attended Parkland High School. Police seized Daniels' computer during an investigation and discovered 24 images and four videos of child pornography, according to the article.

Theft—A cell phone was reported stolen Saturday from Bounce U, police said. Theft—An engagement ring was reported stolen March 15 from LA Fitness, police said. Theft—A cellphone was reported stolen March 12 from Parkland High School, police said.

Stun Gun Brought to Parkland High, Police Say

Two students were arrested and charged with carrying a prohibited weapon at Parkland High School, South Whitehall Township Police said.

Two Parkland High School students have been charged with carrying a prohibited weapon onto school property, South Whitehall Township Police said. One of the boys brought a stun gun to school to give to another boy, according to Officer Ben Porobenski, the school resource officer. Both boys, whose names and ages were not released, were arrested Monday and charged, he said. Porobenski said he was alerted by a teacher that the boys had a stun gun.

Arson Investigation at Law Firm, Police Say

South Whitehall police are investigating two reports of arson at the law firm of Richard Orloski on Cedar Crest Boulevard.

South Whitehall police are investigating two reports of arson at the law firm of Richard J. Orloski at 111 N. Cedar Crest Boulevard. The fires were reported March 18 and 10, according to police reports.
