Eugene Romano of Center Valley and another man have been charged in a theft scheme that spanned 11 counties and involved creating fake labels used to rip off Target stores, according to multiple sources including WFMZ. The Target store in the Crest Plaza Shopping Center in South Whitehall is undergoing renovations as it expands its grocery offerings to include fresh foods. Police, emergency personnel, crime watch groups and local businesses pulled together to make the event at Covered Bridge Park a success.

South Whitehall police are investigating a report of a shot being fired Tuesday night in the Target Greatland parking lot off N. Cedar Crest Boulevard. One man got out of the car, a fist fight ensued, and a gun was discharged, said Cpl. David Gross. He said police do not know whether any one was injured because the four fled by the time police arrived. Two ran, and the two others fled in the car. Gross said police received the call about "a man with a gun" about 6:45 p.m. He said police are reviewing Target surveillance tapes and expect to have additional information later. The incident happened in the northeast…
