Parkland failed to beat Bethlehem Catholic in all three games of an April 26 Lehigh Valley varsity volleyball game. Game scores were 25-22, 25-16 and 25-19 with the Trojans failing to beat the Golden Eagles in all three games. Patch's Jenae Holtzhafer captured the action at Parkland High School through her lens.
The program is open to the public through June 8.
Recreational volleyball is available to all community member every Wednesday evening at Jaindl Elementary School at 1051 Weilers Rd. in Breinigsville from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the multi-purpose gym. The program, arranged through the Upper Macungie Township Recreation Board, is free. All ages and ability levels are welcome to participate. Equipment is provided. Parkland High School was the scene of a boys and girl indoor soccer tournament from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13. Boys and girls teams on the high school and youth level participated.
