$700,000 Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in South Whitehall

Weis Markets at 1500 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., South Whitehall, sells winning Cash 5 ticket.

A jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 tickets worth $700,000 was sold at Weis Markets, 1500 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., South Whitehall, according to a release.

The ticket correctly matched all five balls, 01-03-06-25-41, to win the jackpot.

The market will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winner is the lastest in Lehigh County. Earlier winning tickets were sold in North Whitehall and Emmaus.

Lottery officials cannot confirm the latest winner's identity until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated.

Cash 5 winners have a year from the Aug. 6 drawing date to claim prizes.

The winner should sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery office at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at any of Lottery's seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.

Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices and at headquarters from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
