Fires, tornados, flooding, winter storms. Do you have an emergency plan? Learn how to be better prepared if disaster strikes by joining local first responders at the fifth annual Emergency Preparedness Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 21 at St. Luke's West End Medical Center in South Whitehall. 

Residents will have a chance to learn from local police, fire and emergency medical workers at the day-long event which is sponsored by South Whitehall, North Whitehall and Upper Macungie townships.
