Wanted: Driver Who Hit Boy Riding Bike

South Whitehall Township Police are looking for a woman driving a black sedan that may have struck a boy riding a bike Monday near Cedar Crest Boulevard and Shankweiler Road.

A 15-year-old boy hit by a car Monday while riding his bike remained hospitalized Wednesday morning, South Whitehall police said.

Police continue to look for the driver of a black sedan that may have struck the boy riding his bike at 11:40 a.m. Monday.

The accident occurred near Cedar Crest Boulevard and Shankweiler Road, police said.

The car may have headlight damage on the passenger side and damage to the vehicle’s grille, police said.

The driver may be a white woman, about 5 feet 4 inches, thin build, with shoulder-length blonde and red hair, police said.

Police said the boy's injuries are not life-threatening.
