Another South Whitehall Mosquito Tests Positive for West Nile
Lehigh County is a hot zone for West Nile Virus
State officials say a mosquito sample from South Whitehall Township tested positive for West Nile Virus this week. That follows within the last month.
Spraying to reduce the mosquito population took place earlier this week in Upper and Lower Macungie townships and North Whitehall Township.
Residents are urged to eliminate any standing water where mosquitoes can breed on their property to help reduce the West Nile Threat.
