St. Joseph the Worker Hosts Craftfest This Weekend

The annual Craftfest offers an abundance of crafts, gift baskets, homemade candy and baked goods.

The work of 40 crafters will be on sale this weekend as the Women's Guild of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Orefield sponsors its annual in the parish center.

Doors open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, and again on Sunday, Nov. 13, with crafts, gift baskets, ethnic foods, baked goods and homemade candy available. There will also be a Santa shop for children, a Chinese auction and a unique boutique offering jewelry and other items.

On Friday, members of the Women's Guild were busy setting up for the two-day craft show. Sue Shortell, who has chaired the event for 26 years, said thousands of items will be available for sale.
