Memorial Day: What's Closed, What's Open

Monday is Memorial Day, when we remember those who died serving our country. It is a federal and state holiday.

Here is what's closed:

South Whitehall Township municipal offices. No trash pickup Monday; trash pickups will be one day later. 

Parkland schools and St. Joseph the Worker School

Parkland Community Library

Lehigh County Courthouse

District Judge Jacob Hammond's office.

State offices, including PennDOT driver's license and photo centers. (Driver and vehicle online services are available. www.dmv.state.pa.us) 

Federal offices 

Post offices, and no mail pickup or delivery. Express Mail will be delivered.

Pennsylvania Liquor stores

Banks (Most are closed.)
