Fern Linell (Ragsdale) Zesch, 52, of Orefield, died Saturday, November 16, 2013 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Ronald C. Zesch, Jr. The couple celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary last May 23.
Born in Jackson, MS, May 6, 1961, Linell was the daughter of Walter D. Sr. and Greta S. (Roberts) Ragsdale of Apollo Beach, Florida. Prior to her having the greatest job in the world, that of a mother, Linell was employed as an Executive Assistant for the former A.T. & T. in Morristown, NJ, for 4 years last working in 1990. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown.
Survivors: In addition to her loving husband and parents; sons, Steven R. Zesch of Boston MA, Brian G. Zesch at home; siblings, Paul M. Ragsdale and Karre S. Revelle, both of Apollo Beach, FL, Raymond R. Ragsdale of St. Louis, MO, Kevin C. Ragsdale of Millington, NJ; mother-in-law, Dorothy M. (Fink) Zesch of Hellertown.
Services: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, 3231 W. Tilghman Street, Allentown, with the Rev. Lindsay Harren-Lewis officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 5 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Private burial will follow the service at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ.
