Driver Hurt in Cedar Crest Blvd. Crash: Police
Driver struck a utility pole as he drove north on Cedar Crest Boulevard, police said.
A driver was hurt in a car crash early Thursday in the 100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, just south of Broadway, South Whitehall police said.
Thomas R. Krut, of Laurys Station, was driving north on Cedar Crest Boulevard when his 2006 Audi struck a utility pole at 12:30 a.m., police said. A service box attached to the utility pole crashed into a vehicle parked in a driveway, damaging it, police said.
Krut was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment of cuts suffered in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
