Police Blotter: $12,000 in Camera Equipment Stolen from Vehicle

The following information was supplied by South Whitehall Police.

Someone stole a camera, telephoto lens, color meter and laptop from a vehicle in the 1300 block of N. 39th Street, according to South Whitehall police.

The theft was reported at 11:15 a.m. on June 28.

Police said the stolen equipment was valued as follows: camera, $6,000; lens, $1,400; color meter, $1,100; and laptop, $3,400.

Also, South Whitehall police said the following incidents were among the vehicle break-ins reported in the township from June 28 to July 5:

* $5 was stolen from a vehicle parked on 41st Street; reported at 10:35 a.m. on July 5.

* A bottle of cologne was stolen from a vehicle parked on N. 38th Street; reported at 5:49 p.m. on July 2. 

* Prescription sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive; reported at 1:20 p.m. on June 30. 

* Phones and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot at ; reported at 7:21 p.m. on June 30.

* Sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle in the 3700 block of W. Linden Street; reported at 9:04 a.m. on July 1.

* A Pandora bracelet and two rings were stolen from a vehicle in the unit block of S. Schaeffer Street; reported at 8:39 a.m. on July 2.
