South Whitehall police responded to a number of incidents from Jan. 5 through Jan. 11.
According to South Whitehall police, the following incidents occurred in the township from Jan. 2-11:
-- Arrested Jan. 5 on a charge of retail theft each, Rian Snyder, 42, and Maryellen Miller, 66, both of Orefield; from Kmart; released by District Judge Donna Butler on their own recongizance.
-- Report of criminal mischief at 10 a.m on Jan. 2, 1800 block of North Filbert Street, damage to plastic fence.

-- Reported theft at 4:45 p.m. on Jan. 6 at LA Fitness; phone.
-- Reported theft at 6:26 p.m. on Jan. 6, 1800 block of North 20th Street; Xbox taken.

-- Report of harrassment at 11:08 a.m.on Jan. 9 , in the 3900 block of Longfellow Street, vehicle egged.
-- Report of minor damage to sign at Ice Cream World at 3:33 p.m. on Jan. 9; truck rolled into sign.
-- Reported theft from a vehicle in the 3300 block of Oxford Circle at 2:05 a.m. on Jan. 10; unknown amount of change taken.
-- Reported theft from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Oxford Circle at 8:51 a.m. on Jan. 10; loose change and owner's card taken.
-- Reported theft from a vehicle in the 3400 block of Oxford Circle at 9 a.m. on Jan. 10; purse taken.
-- Reported theft at 11:27 a.m. on Jan 10 in the 1100 block of North Main Street; loose change taken.
-- Report of criminal mischief at 12:10 p.m. on Jan. 10, in the 2400 block of Walbert Avenue, storage locker damaged.
-- Report of threats at 8:20 a.m. on Jan. 11, in the 1100 block of North 24th Street; message on cell phone.
