Police Blotter: Camera, Purses, Cellphones Stolen

The following information was supplied by the South Whitehall police department.

According to  police, the following were among the incidents reported in the township from March 29 to April 4:

Retail Theft:

A camera was stolen from the Goodwill store, 4634 Broadway; reported at 3:15 p.m. on April 1. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male.

Thefts:

Copper was taken from , 2000 Minnich Road; reported at 9:40 a.m. on March 30.

Cellphones were taken from . One theft was reported at 10:05 a.m. on April 3.; another was reported at 7:30 a.m. on April 2. 

An iPod and $10 in cash were taken from Parkland High School; reported at 10:50 a.m. on March 29.

Thefts from Vehicles:

A purse was taken from a vehicle in the 5200 block of High Vista Drive; reported at 7:31 a.m. on April 4.

A purse was taken from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Emerald Drive; reported at 7:15 a.m. on April 4.

A purse was taken from a vehicle parked at Tilghman Square shopping center; reported at 1:40 p.m. on April 2.

Spare change was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3300 block of Oxford Circle; reported at 1:39 a.m. on April 2.

Burglary:

Someone broke into a shed at , 4333 Lime Kiln Road; reported 3:51 a.m. on March 31. Police did not yet have a report of what was taken.

Criminal Mischief:

A license plate was covered with white paint, on a vehicle in the 2400 block of Coolidge Street; reported at 3:37 p.m. on March 29. 

Graffiti was painted in yellow on a barn wall, in the 4000 block of Walbert Avenue; reported at 1:55 p.m. on March 29. 

A mailbox was damaged, in the 2600 block of W. Fairmont Street; reported at 9:50 a.m. on March 31.

A mailbox was damaged, in the 1100 block of Whitehall Avenue; reported at 11:48 a.m. on March 31.
