State police say two passengers, also from Reading, facing underage drinking charges.
A Reading man could face "numerous charges," including drunken driving, possession of heroin and driving with a suspended license, following a traffic stop Thursday night at Hamilton Boulevard east of Cedar Crest Boulevard in the township.
Meanwhile, the vehicle's two passengers are facing underage drinking charges, a state police fax says.
The fax also says:
The vehicle, driven by Tyree Allen Farley, 20, was stopped around 11:52pm after police noticed it left its lane of travel "about three times" as it was northbound on Hamilton Boulevard.
Police found Farley was driving with a suspended license and showed signs of being drunk. He was arrested for suspicion of drunken driving.
Farley also was found to be concealing a small bag of heroin in his possession and further tampered with the drugs by concealing it while in a police cruiser.
The passengers -- Gilbert P. Santa Jr., 20, and Michael Anthony Echavarria, 19, both of Reading, are facing underage drinking charges.
Farley is facing "numerous charges" pending the results of a blood-alcohol test done at Lehigh County Prison.
