Red Cross Helps Couple in Attic Fire

The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley provided lodging and meals to a couple after an attic fire Tuesday at their Orefield home.

 

The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley provided lodging, meals and toiletries to a couple after an attic fire Tuesday at their Orefield home.

The Red Cross said it was called at 6:43 p.m. to the home at 4739 Huckleberry Road in Orefield. The family needed lodging because the power had been shut off at their home.

 on its Facebook page said firefighters had gotten a call about smoke in the home. The caller said he had people in his attic working on an air conditioner.
