South Whitehall police are investigating a report of a shot being fired Tuesday night in the Greatland parking lot off N. Cedar Crest Boulevard.

Witnesses told police two men were walking in the parking lot when two others approached them in a black car with tinted windows. One man got out of the car, a fist fight ensued, and a gun was discharged, said Cpl. David Gross.

He said police do not know whether any one was injured because the four fled by the time police arrived. Two ran, and the two others fled in the car.
