PennDOT Road Work This Week

Motorists are advised to use caution through work areas.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation work crews will seal cracks in roadways this week in South Whitehall.

Here's what scheduled:

* Orefield Road, between Route 309 and Mauch Chunk Road, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 20-21, abetween 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

* Route 309, between Route 22 and Ruchsville Road, Thursday, Sept. 22, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

There will be lane restrictions with flagging. Motorists are cautioned to watch for stopped vehicles and to travel with care through the work areas.
