PennDOT Road Work: Week of Dec. 31
Motorists are urged to use caution in work areas.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation plans the following road work in and South and North Whitehall area the week of Dec. 31:
South Whitehall

Starting Jan. 4, PennDOT will be crack-sealing the Cedar Crest Avenue ramp at Route 22. Restrictions will be in effect all day. Work is expected to be finished by the end of the day barring rain, which would prolong the process. Expect delays and use caution through the work area.
North Whitehall

On Dec. 31 restrictions will be effect on Game Preserve Road between Route 309 and Covered Bridge between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. PennDOT will be cutting brush and lanes will be restricted with flagging. Expect delays. Work will start again on Jan. 2 - 4 and could be extended if it rains.
