Senior Citizen Day Open to South Whitehall Residents

The eighth Senior Citizen Day, hosted by North Whitehall Township, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Schnecksville Fire Company.

 

Seniors in South Whitehall are invited to North Whitehall's eighth annual Senior Citizen Day on Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Schnecksville Fire Company, Old Packhouse Road, Schnecksville.

The "day of fun and relaxation" is open to those 60-plus in North Whitehall, South Whitehall and Upper Macungie townships and Northwestern Lehigh County.

 Here's what's planned:

  • Football Throw
  • Disc Golf & Golf Putting Green
  • Ladder, Ring, Washer & Tire Hoop Toss
  • Miniature Golf at Spring Hill
  • Jaindl Tour with ride on Tijuana Taxi
  • Bean Bags & Horseshoes
  • Dart Game w/Velcro Balls

Also, flu shots will be available, and vendors will be on hand with information for seniors, according to the township newsletter.

A hot lunch will be served.

Winners of sporting games will receive medals. Bingo will have prizes.

It's free, but donations are accepted.
