South Whitehall Planners will Discuss Cetronia Subdivision Tonight

A request to subdivide an undeveloped piece of land on Mertz Lane in Cetronia is on the agenda for South Whitehall's Planning Commission meeting.

The South Whitehall Township Planning Commission will discuss a request for a minor subdivision of an undeveloped property at 35 Mertz Lane near Walnut Street in Cetronia at tonight's meeting at 7:30.

South Whitehall Planner Gregg Adams said the request is a preliminary attempt to subdivide a .24-acre property into two .12-acre lots. The plan then proposes the construction of a twin home.

The property is currently zoned neighborhood commercial and is owned by Debra Rosenberger. Ascot Realty LLC is the applicant.

The only other item on the agenda -- asking commissioners to rezone .9-acres on the southernmost portion of a property at 2449 Walbert Ave. to neighborhood commercial -- has been withdrawn.
