Parkland's Kindergarten Registration Begins March 1

kindergarten registration will start on March 1 for children who will be 5 years old prior to Oct. 1, 2012.

Parents are encouraged to call the elementary schools now to schedule a registration appointment. 

Here are the registration dates:

• Ironton Elementary School, Thursday, March 1. 610-351-5810
• Schnecksville Elementary School, Friday, March 2. 610-351-5830
• , Tuesday, March 6. 610-351-5860.
• , Wednesday, March 7. 610-351-5820.
• Kernsville Elementary School, Thursday, March 8. 610-351-5840.
• , Tuesday, March 27. 610-351-5850.
• Fogelsville Elementary School, Wednesday, March 28. 610-351-5800.
• Fred F. Jaindl Elementary School, Thursday, March 29. 610-351-5880.

Parents who are not sure which school their child will attend can reference the district's school attendance areas.

Parents are urged to call the school to schedule an appointment to expedite the registration process.

Parents will need two forms of verification of their residence. That can include:

• A current real estate property tax bill for the residence.
• A current lease agreement for residence.
• A current utility bill showing the residence.
• A current income tax form filed for local, state, or federal taxes showing the current address.
• A valid driver’s license.
