Parkland School Board Welcomes New Superintendent
Richard T. Sniscak says he will do his best to live up to the standards set by his predecessor, Louise Donohue.
The Parkland School Board Tuesday welcomed to his first board meeting since he took the helm as superintendent from Dr. Louise E. Donohue, who retired in June.
Sniscak called Donohue an outstanding leader and said it will be tough to follow in her footsteps but he was grateful to have her as a mentor.
Sniscak had served as assistant superintendent since 2009. Prior to that he was principal of Parkland High School for eight years. He also had been the athletic director and football coach.
