'Uplifting' Day at St. Joseph the Worker

St. Joseph the Worker School students, faculty, staff, and parents enjoyed the wonders of hot air ballooning last week, courtesy of Bert and Joanie Padelt, owners of Best Aviation Service.  

The visit was inspired by the sixth grade’s recent hot air balloon art project with art teacher Mrs. Cwynar.  

Students watched in awe as the balloon was inflated and hovered above the school grounds.  A student assembly followed, where students learned the fascinating science behind hot air ballooning.
