Viewfinder: Justin Sheftel Memorial Softball Tournament

Event raises money and awareness about teenage drinking and driving.

Justin Sheftel was killed by a drunken driver in Ocean City, Md., in 2005, shortly after graduating from Parkland High School. He was crossing Coastal Highway during Senior Week when he was struck; the other driver was also a recent graduate, from Berks County.

On Saturday, scores of people turned out for the seventh annual Justin Sheftel Memorial Softball to honor his memory and to raise money for scholarships and community projects in his name. Softball was Justin's favorite sport.

Starting with just four teams its first year, the tournament has grown to include 22 teams and more than 300 participants.
